Boutique Hotel Helmhaus Zuerich - Zurich

The hotel is located perfectly for exploring Zurich. I loved being close to all the sights in the Old Town. My room was cozy and beautifully decorated. The modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Staff were really cute and helpful with local tips. Breakfast had a great selection. The air conditioning could have been cooler. It wasn't quite enough during the warm summer days. I also noticed some street noise, a bit harder to sleep at times. Even with these minor hiccups, I genuinely enjoyed my time here and appreciate the overall charm and convenience of the hotel.

The twin room we stayed in was large with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfasts with Swiss sparkling wine, the staff were dedicated.

The setting was quite particularly good and fantastic within easy reach of a famous pedestrian street.

I fell in love with the charming ambiance that wraps you up. Especially Maryanne. Plus, the location was perfect for strolling through Old Town and enjoying local eateries just a stone's throw away!

the hotel was pleasant with marvellous location just next door to the best and largest christmas market near zurich opera house, starbucks, cafe odeon and public transport and the train station to get to other cities and shops and restaurants.

Old town centre, staff was friendly, clean room.

A quaint stay with good breakfast

Woke up to a good breakfast spread, made every morning special, with staff who felt more like friends. The ambiance was charming, and the location unbeatable.

Our room was quite small, lacking a view and proper air conditioning. It made for a bit of discomfort during the warmer days.

The front desk staff were excellent courteous and helpful. Efficiently run enjoyed stay. Good position.

The staff were particularly friendly, accomodating, and knowledgeable. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. the location was convenient for walking lakeside, old town, and Bahnhofstrasse. Rooms were quiet.

I recently had a cozy stay at this lovely hotel where the shower had fantastic water pressure, and the coffee available 24/7 was such a treat. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a great variety that included freshly made options! I truly appreciated the spacious design of the room with ample storage. however, it would have been nice to have a river view. I would definitely choose this place again!

Hotel is situated within old town, all attractions/places are easily reached by foot. Pleasant personal and qood quality service accurately meets all our expectations. Hotel street corner location and limitation of a whole old town view from the windows is completely compensated by room square and room equipment.

This was my third visit to the Helmhaus. Every aspect of the Helmhaus is excellent. The staff is genuinely welcoming, very responsive to requests and, above all, highly professional. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and everything always works. The breakfast is always a wide range of high-quality product, beautifully prepared. And the location, for me, is perfect...essentially in the Altstadt, on S-Bahn line, but also only a 10 minute walk from everything, including the Hbf.

The location is perfect for exploring, and the cozy rooms made our stay relaxing after a long day out.

Close to the hot spots in Zurich, in between main train station and Hip Calatrava designed station Stadelhofen, close to the lake and vivid Bellevue place, Opera and en vogue dining area Niederdorf. Nice & cosy Design hotel with well furnished but small rooms, boutique hotel style. Definetively recommendable.
